My speech
Hi 2day i am going 2 talk 2 u about softball.
Softball is a summer sports.
Softball was 1st played in Chicago in the United States in the proved 1880s.
Players used a boxing glove as a ball and a broomstick as a bat and played an indoor version of baseball.
The game popular and be4 long a new bat and ball was introduced.
The ball was larger than a baseball and the bat had a smaller head than a baseball bat.
At 1st softball was played indoor in university and collage gyms.
But the game soon moved outdoors and on 2 playing fields.
Softball grew rapidly during 1st and 2nd World Wars.
American servicemen played the game wherever they were stationed.
They introduced softball 2 people all over the world.
At the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta softball became a medal sports 4 the 1st time.
As u an see from this photograph time has changed.
I play on Saturday in clothes that are different from thi and the bat ,ball and glove size have even changed.
Softball is a passion of mine.
It might become yours!Thank u 4 listening 2 my speech.
